Copper Kettle Brewing Company is a locally owned mom and pop brewery with tasting room established in Denver in 2011, surrounded by local neighborhoods. CKBC seeks to create what America seems to have lost: a local neighborhood bar in which we strive to know your name and your story. Sit down, relax, and enjoy a beer with new and old friends.
JEREMY GOBIEN, Ph.D
Jeremy has been a homebrewer with his wife Kristen for years in their home in Raleigh, NC. Jeremy decided to put his engineering and brewing experience to the test by opening Copper Kettle Brewing Company in 2011. He has his Ph.D from NC State in material science engineering and has found many similarities between his degree and brewing.
Owner/ Office Manager
Kristen is responsible for managing the daily operations of the business, along with wearing multiple hats around the brewery as needed. Kristen is a registered nurse for the Children's Hospital Colorado where she works part time as well as a lactation consultant. She'll never turn down a beer if it includes chilling out in her backyard with Jeremy, their dog Charlie and watching her kids play. (Our regulars call her "K1").
TaSTING ROOM Manager
With years of taproom management experience and having his Cicerone certification, Billy works hard to make sure your visits to our taproom leave lasting, memorable impressions!
Marketing and Events Manager
Ingrid’s creative experience and previous bartending job led her to the beer industry, where she has found great value in connecting with people and stretching her creative boundaries. She also enjoys good dad jokes, pictures of celebrities dressed as celebrities, scuba diving and looking at coral, and long walks on the beach. Also beer. This is your chick for all things marketing/events/photography/art/social media.
Head Brewer / Master of the Firkin' Universe
Phil holds an Associate Degree in Brewing from Siebel Institute of Technology in addition to a degree in Biology from Pepperdine. He has lived in California, Germany, and Chicago. He has two young kids and as a Colorado native, spends his free time cycling, snowboarding, and sipping on the fruits of his labor.
Having lived in both Seattle and San Diego prior to moving to Denver, Ryan has been exposed to some of the best beer our industry has to offer. He plans on finishing his Cicerone certifications and moving on to The Siebel Institute’s online courses in the never ending quest for more knowledge. He enjoys exploring the great outdoors, spending time with his lovely fiancé, and listening to the same songs on repeat until he gets sick of them.
Besides being a major badass, Rocky is pursuing a degree in brewery operations at Metro State in Denver. She also dominates 14ers like nobody business, attends the most concerts of anyone on the planet earth, and loves puppies and pinatas.
Rocki came to Colorado for the mountains and ended up staying for the sun, beer, and friendly people. During the school year she works as a high school science teacher and she loves to nerd out on education, psychology, and chemistry. After being a Copper Kettle customer and fan for a few years, she’s really excited to be part of the Copper Kettle team!
